Mairi - I just can't help noting that the riotous weekend when Mum, Dad, Uncle Ali, Uncle Calum and myself, Auntie Nora, visited is missing from this website. I am sure readers will be interested to learn that our group had two interesting walking tours of Lyon, a splendid cycle ride on the hired bikes and a tube visit to a most exciting sports shop (Decathlon). We were all agreed that the most striking feature of Lyon is its impressive integrated transport system ("ITS"). We are all looking forward to visiting you when you go on your next foreign trip. We are sure you are looking forward to this too! Yours etc etc etc Auntie Nora

Well seriously, your ageing relatives had a fan dabby dozy time in Lyon with you and all your mates. Elderly men felt completely at home in The Wallace (especially when falling over "because of the slippy carpet" (not!) and I had a great time meeting all your pals for dinner in old Lyon one night. Thanks for the brilliant hospitality. Love from Auntie Nora

Auntie Nora - Very glad you had a good time here in Lyon - i too enjoyed myself immensely - the olds have life in them yet! in reference to the fact that this momentous weekend appears to have been missed from the blog i would like to point out my many efforts (all in vain) of trying to get photos from mum... If any photos were provided they would most certainly take pride of place! :D again, glad you had a good time and looking forward to the next kellock family occasion. niece mairi xxx
