In a cave up on a hill just outside grenoble - lots of steps and things that looked like bats!
Just ouside said cave...
The cable car! They were like wee bubbles...

Yes, so we went to Grenoble for the day - 1 1/2 hours on the train from Lyon. It was a really nice place - much smaller and more glasgow sized - made it seem a bit more friendly in a way. We went up on a cable car and got amazing views over to the alpes - think we saw a bit of snow!

OK Mairi. What's the deal with the hunky chaps- Ausgar Mannheim and Garry Strathclyde then? Did you see any white stuff on Les Alpes yet?

Happy birthday Mairi! Where did Ausgar Manheim and Garry Strathclyde spring from or were they just nice boys you met on the train? Any white stuff on the mountains near Grenoble yet?
